Reviewed August 14, 2012 NEWI keep meaning to write a review when I come back. I have taken 4 tours with Eli on my cruise stops and everyone of them has been fantastic even when the weather is awful! Pouring rain makes for a very different Extreme experience. Have done the Extreme twice and Eco-tour twice. I haven’t been able to take the Classic Sail yet as there never seems to be enough folks to meet the minimum to run it so i take one of the others. Crew and boats are terrific and take excellent care of you. What I really like too is safety is a big deal and travelling on my own i’ve always felt very secure with them. The Extreme is my favourite experience of all the water based excursions I’ve done throughout the Caribbean over the past many years. Nice lunch on the island and the opportunity to swim in the lovely Caribbean – snorkelling fun too. Climbing Hells Gate a blast and the crew were there to lend a hand to keep you safely on your feet. If you are on a cruiseship, they pick you up in the boat 5 minutes from the dock and I’ve always been back in lots of time for all aboard – never a concern. I will be booking with Adventure Antigua again for my January 2013 cruise stop.
1 helpful vote Reviewed August 13, 2012 NEWMy wife and I went on the Xtreme Circumnav Tour. We booked the tour painlessly, on-line. They kept in touch with us via e-mail up till the time of our arrival to Antigua, (08-08-2012). and were quick to answer any questions we had. J.D. and his crew were very knowledgable about the history and the surroundings. They are just 3 fun loving, down to earth guys who take their job seriously and have fun doing it too. I can not say enough good things about this tour, the best thing is if you go to Antigua, book a tour with Adventure Antigua….my favorite was the Xtreme Circumnav, but they have other kinds of tours to suit your tastes. The lunch was awesome. You haven’t lived till you hold a stingray in Stingray City. They are very majestic creatures. Snorkeling was great, with lots of underwater stuff to see. The boat was very fast, but did not beat you up on the waves….very comfortable. The islands we visited were beautiful and tranquil. You can’t see these sites, and not and believe in God. Tour lasted about 6 hours. There really was too much fun to write about….you have to go and experience it yourself. I garantee, you won’t be sorry.
Thank You Adventure Antigua for for giving my wife and I an adventure that we will never forget.
